When your session opens the server rolls a secret seed and publishes sha256(serverSeed) before you touch a chip. You own the client seed and can change it whenever you like. You own the clientSeed and can change it at any moment. Every outcome is derived from HMAC-SHA256(serverSeed, “clientSeed:nonce:cursor”), so the result of a spin is fixed before the wheel moves. Rotating your seed reveals the old server seed: hash it, compare it to the commitment you were given, and you have checked the house rather than trusted it.
